Found another cache during the recent warehouse move! All appear unissued and in "as new" condition. Will outlast a cotton web sling 10-to-one!

VIETNAM ISSUE: Real and original US GI Nylon Slings, first issued and used during the Vietnam War on the M14, and then on early M16s. Complete, with some VPI anti-corrosion coating which wipes off the metal with an oily cloth.

These slings were designed to correct web sling issues - mainly lack of durability under hot, wet conditions. A nylon sling will outlast a number of web slings. You will hear that GI Nylon Slings will slip, will stretch, will XYZ. I have used them extensively in rapid-fire field shooting, and have not experienced any problems other than that they outlast web slings ten times over (what a problem!), which makes them a real buy. Limited quantity.
